On top of that, a fair number of these companions have also been made available only through some special events.īlizzard is seeking to rectify that with the next patch, and now players will have an opportunity to snag some new pets of their own. Pets, particularly those not designed for combat, have not exactly appeared in great numbers inside the game, Blizzard admits. Included in the upcoming patch are a few new pets that could end up being interesting companions inside the game.
